Shoe storage is a problem of floor space, and floor space is the one thing a hallway or a bedroom never has spare. A shoe rack takes up the floor it is meant to clear; a cupboard needs a wall.
The DoorTidy uses the back of a door, which is space that is doing nothing in almost every house. Ten tiers of pockets hang from four wide metal hooks, holding up to twenty pairs in a strip of wall that was previously empty.
The pockets are clear PVC, so you can see what is in each one without pulling anything out β which is the difference between a system that gets used and one that quietly becomes a dumping ground.

Why You'll Love It
πͺ Uses Space You Already Have
The back of a wardrobe door, a bedroom door or a cupboard door. None of it was being used for anything, and none of your floor is lost.
π Twenty Pairs
Ten tiers with two pairs per tier. Trainers, heels, sandals, kids' shoes and ankle boots all fit, which covers most of what accumulates by a front door.
ποΈ See Everything at Once
Clear PVC pockets mean you find the pair you want without emptying three of them first. Hidden storage is how shoes end up back on the floor.
πͺ Four Wide Metal Hooks
Four points of support rather than two, which stops the whole thing swinging every time the door moves. They fit standard interior doors between 3.5 and 4.2 cm thick.
π Fits Larger Shoes
Each pocket is 42 cm wide and 17 cm tall β enough for two pairs of size 11 trainers without the tier sagging. Most racks of this kind give up at around a size 8.

πͺ’ Sloped Openings
The pockets are cut at an angle with reinforcing strips along the top, so shoes sit in rather than sliding out when the door swings shut.
π§Έ Not Only Shoes
Hats, gloves, scarves, cleaning supplies, toiletries, craft bits, snacks, cables. In a child's room it swallows the small things that have no home.
π§ Up in Two Minutes
Lift the hooks over the top of the door and let it hang. Nothing to screw, drill or measure, and nothing left behind when you take it down.
π Works in a Rented Flat
No holes in the door and no marks on the wall, which matters if the walls are not yours to drill.
π§Ί Keeps the Hall Clear
The practical result is a hallway you can walk through in the dark without standing on somebody's trainers.
Twenty Pairs, No Floor Space
Check the thickness of your door first β the hooks suit standard interior doors, but some older or fire-rated doors are thicker.
Hang the heaviest shoes in the lower tiers. It hangs straighter and it is easier on the hooks.
