A hot water bottle goes cold in an hour and has to be refilled in the kitchen at the worst possible moment. A heat pad warms one small patch and looks like something from a hospital ward. Neither is the thing you actually want to fall asleep holding.

The PurrWarm Heated Cat Body Pillow is a 47 cm long plush cat that happens to warm up. It plugs into any USB socket and holds a steady temperature for as long as it is switched on, so it is still warm at three in the morning.

Five heat levels run from 35 °C to 55 °C and five timers from two to ten hours, both set on a small controller that unclips completely — which is what makes the whole pillow washable.

Why You'll Love It

🌡️ Five Heat Levels
35 °C is barely more than body heat and 55 °C is properly hot. Starting low and working up is the sensible way round, and the level stays where you set it rather than cycling on and off.

⏱️ Five Timers
Set it for two hours and it goes off by itself once you are asleep. Ten hours covers a whole night for anyone who wakes up cold at four.

🔌 USB, So It Works Anywhere
A standard USB plug means a wall adapter at home, a laptop at a desk, a car charger on a long drive or a power bank on the sofa. There is no special socket to find.

🧺 The Controller Unclips
Detach the controller and the whole pillow goes in the washing machine. That one detail is the difference between a heated pillow you keep and one you quietly throw out in March.

🧸 Crystal Velvet Plush
The cover is a stretch velvet that stays soft and resists pilling, so it does not go bobbly after the first few washes.

🐱 It Looks Like a Cat
Grey, long-bodied, with ears, a face and pink paw pads. That matters more than it should — it ends up on the sofa in daylight rather than hidden in a drawer.

🛋️ Five Things at Once
Lower back support in a desk chair, a headrest on the sofa, a leg pillow in bed, something to hug, or simply a warm throw cushion. The long shape suits all of them.

🛡️ Overheat Protection
The heating layer is built to spread warmth evenly rather than concentrating it in one spot, with a cut-off if it runs too hot.

🎁 An Easy Present
Comes with its own zip pouch, which makes it giftable as it is. It covers the awkward middle ground between a token gift and something expensive.

💡 Cheap to Run
At around 10 W it costs almost nothing to leave on. Warming the person rather than the room is the cheaper end of a cold evening.

Warmth You Can Hold On To

Fifteen to thirty minutes at a time on a higher setting is plenty; for sleeping, a low level with a timer is more comfortable than full heat.

Unclip the controller before washing, and let it dry flat before plugging it back in.
