Delivery boxes pile up by the back door because breaking them down with a craft knife is slow and hard on the hands. The same goes for carpet offcuts, thick packaging and old lino.

The SnipGlide Cordless Electric Rotary Cutter does the cutting with a spinning round blade. Guide it along the line and it goes through cardboard, carpet, leather, rope and plastic packaging up to about 0.6 cm thick.

It charges through the supplied USB cable and comes with a spare blade. A safety switch has to be held before the trigger will start it.

Why You'll Love It

📦 Boxes In Minutes
Flatten the recycling without sawing at it with a blade. The rotary head does the work.

🧶 Many Materials
Cardboard, carpet, leather, rope, wrapping paper, plastic packaging and canvas, according to the maker.

✋ Easier On The Hands
At around 395 g and with a rubber grip, it is lighter work than a knife – a help for anyone with stiff or painful hands.

🔒 Will Not Start By Accident
Press and hold the safety switch, then the trigger. Once running, the safety switch can be released.

🔌 Cordless
Charge it by USB, then cut without a cable trailing across the floor.

💡 Charge Indicator
A small light by the charging port shows when it is charging.

🔄 Spare Blade Included
When the first blade dulls, the second is already in the box.

🛠️ Useful Beyond Moving Day
Carpet edges, DIY packaging, garden matting, craft projects – it earns its drawer space.

🧤 Steadier Than A Knife
Because the blade rotates, you guide the cutter rather than pushing a blade through, and it is less likely to slip.

Before You Start

It is not made for fabric or fine, precise cuts – for those, use scissors. Keep fingers clear of the blade and switch off before putting it down. Replace the blade when it starts to tear rather than cut cleanly; a dull blade needs more pressure and is less safe.

Charge fully before the first use. Store it out of reach of children with the safety switch off.

Cut the boxes, not your hands 📦
