FrostPane Christmas Window Light

A lit window is the part of Christmas decoration that other people see. Everything inside the house is for the family; the window is what makes a street look like December from the pavement.

The FrostPane is a 20 cm acrylic ornament with warm white LEDs set into it, hung on a suction cup. The light picks out the printed design from behind, so a snowman or a gingerbread man glows out of a dark window.

It runs on three button cells rather than a cable, so there is no wire trailing down the wall to a socket and no decision about which window is near one.
