A hat leaves your neck cold, a scarf comes undone, and a snood rides up over your chin when you turn your head. In a real wind you end up holding things in place with one hand, which is no use on a bike or with a dog lead in the other.
The StormHood is one piece. A hood, a face covering and a neck gaiter cut from a single panel of thick polar fleece, so there is no gap at the throat and nothing to come loose.
A drawcord at the neck pulls it in against the wind, and the shoulder-length skirt tucks inside a coat collar so the cold cannot find its way down the back of your neck.

Good to Know
📏 Head circumference: 55–60 cm — one size, unisex
🎨 Colours: beige, black, grey, green
🧵 Material: thick polar fleece
🔘 Fastening: drawcord with toggle at the neck
🧩 Two cuts: Type A and Type B — slightly different hood shapes
Why You'll Love It
🧣 Hat, Mask and Scarf in One
No gap at the neck, nothing to retie and nothing to lose. The single-piece cut is what makes it windproof in a way a hat and a scarf together never are.
💨 Thick Polar Fleece
Dense enough to stop wind rather than just insulating. Thin fleece feels warm indoors and does nothing at all at speed on a bike.
👃 Pull the Face Panel Down
The mouth and nose covering folds down to sit under the chin when you want to talk or warm up, and pulls back up at a junction without taking anything off.
🔘 Drawcord at the Neck
Pull it in and the hood stays put in a crosswind. Loosen it and the whole thing sits comfortably as a hood on a milder day.
🎽 Shoulder-Length Skirt
The lower section goes well past the neck so it tucks inside a coat. That overlap is where most hat-and-scarf combinations fail.

🚴 Made for Moving
Cycling, skiing, skating, running, fishing, dog walking, standing on a touchline. Anywhere the wind is the problem rather than the air temperature.
🎨 Four Colours
Beige, black, grey and green — all plain, none of them sporting-goods neon. It can be worn walking into a shop without looking like equipment.
🧩 Two Shapes
Type A and Type B differ slightly in the cut of the hood and face opening. Either works; it is a question of how much of the face you want covered.
🧺 Easy to Look After
Fleece washes, dries quickly and does not need any particular care. It goes in with the rest of the washing.
🎁 A Useful Present
One of the few winter gifts that gets worn immediately rather than put in a drawer, and it costs very little for what it does.
One Piece, No Gaps
Put it on over the head before your coat, then tuck the shoulder section inside the collar. That order is what keeps the draught out.
One size fits a head circumference of 55 to 60 cm, which covers most adults — the drawcord takes up the difference.
